Relax in St. Ives with a day to do as you please! The beaches are golden, the vegetation is lush and the sun shines brightly – it's no wonder the town has been attracting artists for decades.
Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Land's End – Britain's most south-westerly point on the mainland, which offers picture-perfect scenery in all directions. We also call at pretty Marazion on Cornwall's south coast, from where you can enjoy the stunning views of St. Michael's Mount – one of the region’s most famous sights.
Day 4
Truro and St. Mawes
Excursion visiting historic Truro – the county town of Cornwall and the region's only city. At its centre you'll find vibrant shopping, cultural charms and impressive architecture, including the Gothic towers of the cathedral that dominate the skyline.
We continue on to call at pretty St. Mawes, one of Cornwall’s most exclusive waterside villages. Once an important port in medieval times, now the picturesque harbour is busy with fishing boats under the watchful gaze of the perfectly preserved coastal fortress of St. Mawes Castle.
