Day 1
Home pick ups. Travel by Eurotunnel (35 minutes) break for lunch in Ostend and arrive late afternoon in Bruges.
L, DDay 2
A day at leisure in this beautiful medieval city with many fine old buildings, often referred to as the Venice of the North by the Burg main square. Traditions are still alive with lace shops and market stalls surrounded by picturesque medieval building with pretty gables. The more energetic can tackle the 370 steps of the 13th century Belfry of Bruges!
B, DDay 3
We travel to Ypres famous for the Cloth Hall and Menin Gate. We visit the superb Flanders Fields Museum in the Cloth Hall which tells the story of the first World War through the personal stories of the indviduals. In the afternoon we take a three hour guided tour by coach of the battlefields of the Ypres Salient scene of many of the fiercest battles of the great war. We have allowed some time to get dinner before we observe the last post ceremony at 8pm

Homeward journey

Situated in a charming cobblestone street, near one of Bruges’ highlights, the Lake of Love. The Beguinage and local Brewery “Halve Maan” are less than 150 meters away. The railway station, Market Square and shopping area are on walking distance.
